VISITING THE COMPANY - when becoming familiar with a company it is important to learn about the company culture and understand the unwritten rules – to understand the type of people employed by the company to be able to make intuitively more appropriate choices later for the particular company.
PREPARATION OF THE JOB DESCRIPTION – a thorough summary of the duties and expected results, limits to rights and authorisation, etc.
DEVELOPMENT OF THE COMPETENCE MODEL – competence is a set of fixed and deeply engrained characteristics of a personality which enables the person to be successful at a particular job (Klempt 1980) and is consistently expressed in the behaviour, ways of thinking and feeling in different situations and in time. We conduct a focused interview on the basis of a well-considered competence model to evaluate the essential competence standards of applicants.
